Course Outline

1. Ice-Breaking & Brainstorming Activity:

”Attention passengers”

Workshop opening activity. Participant work together in a game that simulated the uncertainty in digital economy. .

2.Collaborative Card Game:

"Digital Disruption vs Business Agility"

A puzzle game based on digital disruption study cases. Participants play and discuss the impacts of disruption and how an organization should cope with changes.

3. Group Activity and Discussion:

“7 pillars of Agile and Innovative Org”

A puzzle game where participant play and discuss what are the components required for an organization to excel in a market with uncertainty.

4. Strategic Board Game Simulation:

“Simpson’s Seven” The Journey to Transformation

  • The 4F Model
  • Developing a process to respond to situations with a positive mindset.
  • Learn the process for recognizing feelings, thinking strategically about desired outcomes, and then planning actions accordingly.

5. Reflection & Discussion:

“The Simulation Reflection”

A section to reflect and debrief on the simulation experience. Learn the technique to transform your organization.

6. Workshop Exercise:

“Team Transformation Mapping”

A workshop exercise to strategize your team development and transformation toward an agile innovative organization.

Featured Activity:

“Simpson’s Seven”

The is in chaos and the climate is shifting! A group of 7 heroes is sent on a journey to find magic stones to save the village and its people. Lead the team and strategize. Make sure you survive the journey!

★ Strategize and plan your game that simulates the business transformation process.
★ Experience through the game the elements of business agility and their impact on your strategy.

✓ Participants are briefed on the mission scenarios and goals.
✓ Participants are given tools, resources, and information on how to best play the game.
✓ Split into teams, each team has to plan and manage work together over the set time. (1-4 days)
✓ Based on the result submission, the winning team provides most correct answers and decisions.
